Our Client Greenhous' requirement was to expose stock located across 8 varied dealerships via a single simple but clear website.

'CAP' provide a complex structured vehicle database, that describes all vehicles currently sold throughout the UK. Typically this data can be used to describe new vehicles or to enhance the details used to describe used vehicles. Greenhous were already collating information regarding the used vehicle selection, but wanted a system that held all data from all sources.

iCASE has been developed by GTS to integrate varying sources of motor vehicle description data into one SQL Server Database.

The interface to this data provides GTS' client, Greenhous, with the ability to perform complex vehicle searches on their website, utilising Microsoft .NET technologies.

The solution is aimed to provide the user with the ability to search for vehicles located across 8 dealership sites within Shropshire and North Staffordshire.

Once a vehicle has been found, a simple "contact me" form allows the user to request a call back. The vehicle's location is cross referenced with the user's location, and a relevant sales person contacted to initiate the sales process.

Online Vehicle Sales processing

iTALK provides GRS with the ability to remarket their vehicle stock, from within their back office remarketing solution NEXUS, directly through to their website.
Controlling the flow and synchronisation of the data was the ultimate challenge, as this was in essence a real time online sales solution.

This application differs from Greenhous in that the website interfaces directly with GRS sales order processing in Nexus.

In order to overcome this GTS decided to implement a BizTalk 2004 and Commerce Server architecture, allowing real time sales order processing and providing the ability for GRS to maintain their 'shop window' real time, as well as the data.
